In short
The purpose is to outsource the services of a Forensic Investigator to undertake a forensic investigation into a Whistle-blower report and an irregular, fruitless, wasteful expenditure determination test as required by the PFMA. The investigation will cover the period from 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2026, with priority focus on 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026. It will also include an investigation into a historical balance of R 612 million from 1 April 2013 to 31 March 2025.
