The service provider will be responsible for the servicing and maintenance of diesel generators at SABC Auckland Park for a period of three years. This includes checking fuel, oil, and cooling system integrity, tightening electrical and mechanical connections, inspecting cooling system hoses, testing low-water-level protection systems, completing maintenance service reports, inspecting for leaks and anomalies, checking oil-level indicators, inspecting and cleaning air inlet filters, ensuring clear air inlets and exhaust openings, recording generator start times, checking generator voltage, recording stabilized oil temperature, verifying ventilation fan operation, monitoring abnormal noises, assessing performance deterioration, checking voltage and frequency stability, inspecting alternator airflow, testing speed and voltage adjustment controls, conducting automatic operation tests, ensuring control switch is in 'Auto', performing configuration, repairs, and fault finding on PLC and DSE systems, balancing generator phases, and performing mechanical repairs and diagnostics on generator engines.
