The appointed Panel will deliver internal audit services in accordance with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (IIA Standards). This includes Internal Audit Planning (developing a three-year rolling risk-based internal audit plan, preparing annual audit plans, and aligning audit plans with NSEZ strategic objectives), Execution of Internal Audits (covering financial management, SCM, governance, PFMA compliance, performance information, IT audits, project audits, and ad hoc investigations), Risk Management Support (reviewing and enhancing enterprise risk management processes and assessing risk mitigation strategies), Internal Controls and Compliance (evaluating internal controls and reviewing compliance), Reporting (internal audit reports, progress reports, and presentations), Follow-up Audits, and Advisory Services.
