The service provider shall carry out the complete overhaul, testing and commissioning of various diesel engines for the Joe Gqabi District Municipality on an as-and-when required basis for the duration of the contract. This includes disassembly, inspection and cleaning of engine components, replacement of worn or defective parts with OEM or equivalent spares, re-assembly, calibration and functional testing, and issuing of a test certificate and service report upon completion of each overhaul.
