In short
The NRWDI requires a backup microwave internet link and a point-to-point microwave link for its Vaalputs facility. This is to address the single point of failure in the current connectivity solution, which relies on a primary microwave link and MTN SIM cards. The new link must be independent of the existing MTN infrastructure, provide automatic failover, and maintain continuous connectivity.
