In short

The scope of works entails a VAT review of the apportionment percentages calculations and general ledger and VAT recovery for the current and previous five (5) years. This includes reviewing the VAT treatment of equitable shares and grants, conducting VAT reconciliations, and investigating input and output VAT. The service provider will also be required to recalculate the apportionment percentage and assist the Municipality with VAT returns and liaise with SARS.
