In short

This specification provides for the supply, delivery and offloading of High Voltage (12kV) Current Limiting Fuse-links for use in miniature substations and in MV switchgear feeding distribution transformers. The fuse-links must be of the back-up type, in accordance with SANS 60282-1 and must comply fully with the requirements of SANS 60282-1. The fuse-links must be either DIN type fuse-links for air insulated use in voltage transformers, SF6 ring main units and compact switchgear or oil tight fuse-links for oil immersed use in oil insulated ring main units and extensible switchgear, as specified.
