FOR THE PROVISION OF PEST CONTROL SERVICES ON AN “AS AND WHEN REQUIRED BASIS” IN THE PORT OF DURBAN FOR A PERIOD OF THIRTY-SIX (36) MONTHS

The Port of Durban requires the services of a competent Service Provider with a proven track record for the provision of Pest Control Services on an “as and when required basis” in the Port of Durban for a period of thirty-six (36) months. The scope includes general pest control, rodent baiting stations, maintenance thereof, removal of dead birds and rodents, rats, mice, spiders, cockroaches, fish moths, bird lice, bed bugs, ants, flies (household flies, fruit flies, etc.) for all Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA) buildings and data cables manholes in the port. Services also include quarterly and as-and-when basis inspections and treatments, innovative pest prevention programmes, monthly fumigation/pest control of all buildings, TNPA vehicles and Marine Craft, installation and maintenance of tamper-proof rodent bait boxes/stations, and quarterly pesticide spraying of all drains.
