How QuickTenders works

From a company profile to a submission pack — what QuickTenders does at each stage, what it needs from you, and where the boundary is.

QuickTenders is a tender preparation platform for South African businesses. It collects live public-sector tenders, matches them to your business, keeps your compliance records current, and builds the submission you lodge with the buyer. Here is what happens at each stage.

1. Sign up and describe your business

Onboarding takes four short steps: your company basics (with a live count of how many open tenders match as you type), a snapshot of the compliance documents you hold, your first Readiness Score, and your first three matches. No card is needed to start.

2. Tender Discovery and Matching

QuickTenders collects tenders daily from national departments, provincial governments, municipalities and state-owned entities, and reads each tender document for its requirements. Tender Matching scores every open tender against your Company Profile — province, category, CIDB grade and value limit, B-BBEE level, turnover, certifications and closing date — and shows the ones that score well as your matches, with the reasons. Anything can still be found under Browse tenders, and a tender you found elsewhere can be uploaded under My tenders.

3. Biz Enablement

Biz Enablement gets the business tender-ready. You upload your Business Documents — CIPC registration, TCS PIN, B-BBEE certificate, CSD report, banking letter, CIDB and other registrations — and QuickTenders reads them, records what they say, and tracks their expiry. The Readiness Score shows how much of what applies to your business is in place, and what is missing. Key personnel go in the CV Bank; past projects go under References.

4. Apply and prepare

Applying to a tender opens a Tender Workspace. QuickTenders runs a Tender Fit check, asks the Bid Questions it cannot answer from your records, and — once you have recorded your Pricing Decision — drafts the written sections from your documents and this tender's requirements. The buyer's forms are carried in and pre-filled where QuickTenders holds a template; declarations, signatures and figures are yours.

5. Final Review and the Submission Pack

Final Review lists what QuickTenders completed, what it recommends, what only you can decide, what you must provide, and anything blocking. You download the Submission Pack — one PDF — sign the forms, and lodge it yourself by the method the tender allows.

Frequently asked questions

Is QuickTenders free to use?
There is a Free plan. It includes tender matching, the Company Profile and Biz Enablement, and pay-as-you-go applications; paid plans add monthly application allowances and more. Current plans and prices are on the Pricing page and are read live from QuickTenders.
Does QuickTenders guarantee that I will win tenders?
No. QuickTenders finds tenders that fit, gets your records in order and assembles a complete, honest submission. Evaluation and award are the buyer's decisions.
