In short

Installation of 24 Core OPGW fibre optic cable between Hlanganani and Mashau substations, approximately 23.5km long. This includes stringing the cable, fitting vibration dampers, installing bird flappers, joining OPGW to duct cable, terminating fibres in patch panels, and connecting to protection relays. The splice enclosure will be mounted at approximately 1m-1.5m above ground in the HV yard.
