REHABILITATION OF ROADS VULINDLELA WARD 1 - SHANGE ROAD

In short

Upgrade of approximately 800 m of Shange Road in KwaMpumuza, Ward 1, from gravel to asphalt-surfaced standard. This includes stormwater and subsoil drainage, and the construction of a three-cell cast in-situ reinforced concrete box culvert at the major watercourse crossing. The scope also covers site establishment, temporary works, traffic accommodation, surveying, clearing and grubbing, demolition of existing structures, earthworks, roadbed and pavement layers, kerbing, channels, lined drains, pipes, culverts, scour and erosion protection, road furniture, finishing of the road reserve, and environmental compliance.
