In short

Proposals are invited for multidisciplinary professional engineering services for the development of a 500 kWt circulating fluidised bed test facility from design inception through detailed design and procurement-ready documentation. The design shall be safe, operable, maintainable, constructible and suitable for subsequent fabrication, installation, commissioning and performance testing. The overall aim of the testing facility is to demonstrate the fuel flexibility and emission control capabilities of the CFB combustor as opposed to the conventional pulverised coal plant.
