The appointed service provider shall provide mechanical repair and maintenance services on an as-and-when-required basis. This includes routine servicing, preventative maintenance, inspections, fault finding, diagnostic testing, engine repairs, brake system repairs, suspension and steering system repairs, clutch and transmission repairs, cooling system maintenance, fuel system repairs, exhaust system repairs, electrical fault diagnosis, battery replacement, minor welding and fabrication, emergency breakdown assistance, and roadworthy inspection preparation. The provider will also be responsible for identifying defective parts, quoting for replacements, obtaining approval before incurring costs, supplying new parts, and clearly distinguishing labour and parts costs on quotations and invoices.
