The contract covers the supply of an Inhibitor dosing plant and butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) for inhibitor dosing treatment at various Eskom sites nationwide over a period of five years. Services are on an 'as-and-when-required' basis. This includes purchasing BHT, pre-screening it, attending site meetings and inductions, obtaining work permits, conducting risk assessments, ensuring equipment is clean, connecting and operating the dosing plant, circulating oil, adding inhibitor, and performing site clean-up.
