How to upload company documents for Biz Enablement
Which documents to upload, in what form, what happens after you upload, and how renewals and replacements work.

Business Documents live under Biz Enablement → Documents (and every file, including CVs and references, under All Files). Each document you upload is read, recorded and tracked for expiry, and is attached to your Submission Packs.
What to upload
| Document | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| CIPC registration certificate | Your legal name and registration number on every form |
| Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN | Required by every organ of state; an expired PIN blocks a bid |
| B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit | The preference-points claim (SBD 6.1 and equivalents) |
| CSD registration report | Your supplier number; most buyers require CSD registration |
| Banking confirmation letter | Requested on many bid forms |
| CIDB certificate | Construction and related tenders — the grade is read from it |
| COIDA letter of good standing, OHS, insurance, NHBRC, ECSA, bid bond | Where your sector or a specific tender requires them |
Under Financials, upload audited financial statements, bank statements or a turnover declaration where you have them.
What happens after you upload
- The file is stored against its document type.
- QuickTenders reads it — the registration number, level, supplier number, expiry date — and records what it says, against that document.
- Your Readiness Score recalculates immediately.
- The expiry date is tracked. You are reminded before it lapses, and an expired document is flagged on the Readiness page and in Final Review.
Replacing and renewing
Uploading a document of a type you already hold replaces it. The old file's details are archived with the date they were true; the new file is read afresh, and everything derived from the old one is recalculated. You never need to delete the old document first.
The expiry date has two possible sources and QuickTenders shows which: the date read from the document, or a date you typed. A typed date is never overwritten by a read one — so when you renew, let the new document's date stand rather than re-entering the old one.

Frequently asked questions
- What file types can I upload?
- PDF, JPG and PNG. A clear scan or the original PDF from the issuer reads best; a photograph of a screen usually does not.
- I uploaded a renewed certificate but the old expiry date is still showing. Why?
- A date you typed yourself is kept in preference to one QuickTenders reads. Clear the typed date, or upload the new file without re-entering the old date, and the date read from the new document will show.
