How to review your submission

What Final Review checks, what the three pack states mean, what the five facts per form tell you, and what the download acknowledgement records.

~2 min read · Updated 16 September 2026

Final Review runs every check QuickTenders can make before a Submission Pack is downloaded, and groups the result into what was done, what is recommended, and what is yours.

What it checks

  • Forms — for each required form: is it in the pack, did QuickTenders populate anything on it, does it still need your action, is it completed, is it signed. These are five separate facts. A blank buyer's form in the pack is physically included and awaiting your action; it is never completed.
  • Written sections — written, accepted, edited by you, or waiting for an answer. Generated text you have not accepted is a warning, not a block.
  • Bid Questions — unanswered required questions and provisional answers.
  • Pricing — whether your decision is recorded.
  • Documents — every document the pack will attach is actually on file; expired compliance documents are listed.
  • Signing authority — a declared signatory; a resolution on file where the signatory is not a director.
  • Dates — a date line the letter still needs from you.
  • The tender's own wording — a contract period stated two ways, for you to clarify with the buyer.
  • The tender — whether it has closed.

The three states

StateMeaningDownload
Submission ReadyNo open itemsYes
Review RequiredOpen items remainYes, after you acknowledge the list
BlockedThe tender has closedNo

Blocking items would get the bid rejected or make it unsubmittable — an expired TCS PIN, missing signing authority. Warnings are worth knowing and do not stop you.

The acknowledgement

Downloading under Review Required records an acknowledgement: who, when, the exact list of open items with their classification, and — once the file leaves — the pack's fingerprint and page count. It is a record that you saw the list. It changes nothing about the pack, and the pack itself carries no workflow status.

Frequently asked questions

If I download with "Review Required", is the pack marked as a draft?
No. The pack carries no QuickTenders status of any kind. What is still open is shown in the workspace and recorded with your acknowledgement; the document the buyer receives is the same either way.
